Youth Conference in Honor of President John F. Kennedy

ADDIS ABABA, Ethiopia, June 15, 2017/APO/ --

The U.S. Embassy in partnership with the Addis Ababa University (AAU) has organized a youth conference in honor of the 100th birth of President John F. Kennedy and the celebration of the 50th Anniversary of JFK Memorial Library at AAU.

The conference will focus on key elements of JFK’s legacy (service, education, the Peace Corps, science and technology). Mission staff from USAID and Peace Corps as well as AAU staff and students will be speaking at the conference on various issues in line with JFK’s legacy.
