U.S. Embassy Wishes Ghanaian Muslims Eid Mubarak

ACCRA, Ghana, September 23, 2015/APO (African Press Organization)/ --

Today, millions of Muslims in the United States, in Ghana and around the world celebrate Eid ul-Adha. We extend to all—and especially to all Muslims in Ghana—our heartfelt wishes for a blessed celebration.

Eid ul-Adha is a special time when Muslims pause to appreciate the importance of sacrifice and devotion.  It is an opportunity for reflection, goodwill and charity.  We are reminded of the shared roots of the world’s Abrahamic faiths and how our communities can come together in shared peace, with dignity and a sense of justice.

On the occasion of the end of the Hajj pilgrimage, we wish all Muslims a happy and blessed Eid ul-Adha.  Eid Mubarak and Hajj Mabrour!
