GENEVA, Switzerland, October 13, 2015/APO (African Press Organization)/ --

The UN Committee on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights has published its findings on the States it examined during its session from 21 September to 9 October 2015. The States listed below were reviewed:

Burundi, Greece, Guyana, Iraq, Italy, Morocco and Sudan

The findings, known as concluding observations, can be found here: http://tbinternet.ohchr.org/_layouts/treatybodyexternal/SessionDetails1.aspx?SessionID=968&Lang=en

These findings contain positive aspects of a respective State’s implementation of the International Covenant on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights (ICESCR), highlight main areas of concern and detail the Committee’s recommendations for action.

The above are among the 164 States that have ratified the Covenant and so are required to submit regular reports to the Committee of 18 international independent experts on how they’re implementing the Covenant.
